Assessor Comments
A very well bred line of quality Angus heifers that have been preg-tested 5 to 6 months in calf. The heifers were purchased as weaners out of the Strathalbyn store sale in March 2023, and are Boonarkm blood heifers. These heifers are mainly large frame for their age, in very forward condition, and can only be described as very docile. They are used to being handled quietly. A very reluctant sale due to the property being put up for lease. They have been preg-tested to a Keringa Angus bull, Keringa Sovereign S180. A preg-test certificate will be provided. They are Feb/March 2022 drops, averaging 550 kg. They are due to start calving July/August.
Please note: the successful purchaser has the right to also buy a heifer with a heifer calf at foot,(255 kg), as a three in one unit .The price will be $500 above sale price. There is also the option to purchase two heifers that are 12 weeks in calf at $200 under the sale price. 510kg and 590 kg.
