These heifers behaved beautifully and were easy to handle through the system. The vendors have done a good job with them as they were a bit flighty when purchased.

Assessor Comments
Presenting a very nice line of one mark Santa Angus heifers PTIC 5-7 months to a Hazeldean bull selected for calving ease. The heifers were good to work with and were orderly through the race and crush. They have a nice deep body and good bone. Two heifers have slight brindle through the coat, typical of that cross at times. Two heifers have a damaged eye( missing pupil) see pics. Three other heifers have old scarring in one eye. One had a fresh pink eye at assessment which was treated(pics). If still active at delivery she will be omitted. They possess good frame and should grow into better than medium framed cows. They are positioned behind a creek at the moment and may need to be loaded at neighbours. Purchasers patience appreciated. All were weighed at assessment with low weight 436 kg and high weight 548 kg to average 499kg after 3 hrs. They are a lovely lot of future breeders well forward in their pregnancy, well bred and well grown.

Vendor Comments
Purchased to build herd numbers. Have since purchased pure Angus heifers so surplus to requirements but reluctant sale. Have developed into nice matrons and easy to handle.
