Heifers were fine to draft and handle but were keen to move from pen to pen, into crush and out. They did sweat up a bit in tight confines. There were a number of people in the yards which was a contributing factor, as well as removing calves for assessment. Photos & videoing was no issue when the pressure was off.

Offering a nicely presented draft of Angus heifers with their first calf at foot. Heifers were acquired out of a quality western district herd, Konongwootong, being Chiltern Park blood and presenting in fresh, forward store condition. Heifers show the attributes to grow into roomy larger framed cows with capacity. Calves are sired by top quality Bowmont Angus bulls, present in fresh condition and have been recently marked. They are offered to market due to vendor’s desire to concentrate on their spring calving herd. A chance to acquire nice quality outfits with the hard work done (vendor also offers 17 x 17 Black Baldy Heifers & Calves this sale, same breeding)
