Generally good to handle in and through the crush and settled well in the yard for photos. The calves were nice and settled in the yards. All stock are worked using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques and are used to being grazed in single wire grazing cells.

Assessor Comments
A fair through to good and very good quality line of younger cows with calves at foot. Based on their age at purchase via Auctionsplus they range from rising 4 to rising 7 years old. They are 3 x 2019 Drop (Rising 7 yrs), 20 x 2020 (Rising 6 Yrs) and 17 x 2022 (Rising 4 yrs). All cows were mouthed at assessment with all being good sound mouthed cows. One cow has clearly had a middle tooth knocked out (see photo) with all other 7 teeth large and sound. They have calves sired by Raff and Lawson Angus bulls at foot and are rejoined to Raff and Angus bulls. They have done a good job on their calves in a very difficult season. The calves ranged from 60 to 252 kg and averaged 170 kg. Please note - the horned cow and Brangus cow were withdrawn from the sale line after the photos and videos were taken. The cows are picking up after being bought back to the vendors home propertyThese are good functional medium to large frame cows that are only for sale due to the season.
