Cows behaved very well through the yards during preg testing and assessment, on a very odd time they did become agitated in the race or crush but once they returned within the mob they remained calm.

Assessor Comments
3 decks of 66 Angus X cows, VET PTIC to Milwillah Angus bulls. These cows are either vendor bred or purchased from QLD, NT & NSW, and have been drafted to present as a quality line of Angus X females, all PTIC 4–7 months to Angus bulls within a 3-month calving window. Vendor offers a total of 216 PTIC cows in this sale, drafted into 4 lines. Cows present as a young line of females, with a sample mouthing of the whole mob as showing 76% as 4 or 6 tooth and 12% as either 2 tooth or good fresh full mouth (Whole mob age brands sighted as #1-#4). These cows were mustered into a holding paddock on Sunday, drafted Monday, with the majority having calves weaned the same day, before being pregnancy tested and assessed Tuesday. A credit to these cows, the majority have weaned a calf and are now back in calf. Cows were joined to Angus bulls, with only Angus bulls removed at assessment. While neighbouring paddocks contain other bull breeds, to the vendor’s best knowledge these bulls were not sighted in the paddock during joining. As this mob includes purchased cows, breed descriptions are based on visual assessment. FIRM delivery Tuesday 26th May. Contact the assessor with any questions.
