Heifers were good to handle throughout the assessment process. They were free flowing throughout the yards. The females had to be redrafted twice and on the second draft became a little sour therefore the reasoning for the number of slighty stirry cattle. 5 to 10% of the mob became unsettled when placed under severe pressure in the pound, crush and head bail. Once released back to the larger mob heifers that were unsettled were unnoticeable.

Assessor Comments
Opportunity awaits for the breeder or trader with these 3 decks of quality predominately flatback VET PTIC females. These heifers at assessment after an 14hr wet curfew had a weight range of 344kg to 467kg and will have a delivery weight of 414kg. VET PTIC to LBW Hazeldean & Boshammer Angus with a calving window of 90 days these heifers are currently 1.5 to 5 months in calf. These heifers present with good frame, structure & femininity for their age and would be a ideal female to continue on breeding with. One heifer was noted with a slight capped hip, not impeding heifers gait or performance. The vendor has pre-treated these cattle at assessment with a Dectomax injectable to assist tick free buyers with clearance protocols. Quality VET PTIC females to RENOWNED LOW BIRTH WEIGHT ANGUS BULLS FROM HAZELDEAN & BOSHAMMER STUDS.
