Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Any score 1 cows are in plain condition but reasonably strong and considered fit to load. Would discourage long distance transportation unless spelling in transit is considered. All Fit to Load protocols will be respected at delivery.

Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows were generally very good to handle in all areas of the yards. There was the odd cow that resented being in the crush but settled quickly once back with main mob. Avoid having cows become isolated and better to work quietly.

Assessor Comments
Angus cows that have presented in store condition and PTIC to Wagyu bulls over 4 months. These cows generally are of good frame and still right in their breeding prime. There is plenty of life left in them to continue on breeding F1 Wagyu’s or return them to a straight Angus program. They will also provide a healthy return as a prime export slaughter cow once their time is up. Buyer/truck driver urged not to load them too tight. There are other lots in the immediate area that can be used to fill up decks if required.
