Well mannered females to handle in the yards, easy to run through gates & draft off their calves. All walked straight down the race once in the force. Some where a bit anxious being pulled away from their calves and being pushed up towards the crush, showing some nervous behaviour and not standing still on the scales, once they’d been weighed and circled back around to their calf they immediately settled, their anxiety was a good display of their strong maternal nature.

Assessor Comments
Opportunity to secure a 3in1 package of stylish Pure Landfall blood Angus cows. Females that have proven they have what it takes to be a proper Autumn calver, carrying a big tank of milk and producing a cracking calf through what’s been a pretty harsh Winter. These Cows have shown good fertility with all of these calves dropping in a tight 2 cycle calving. Even drop of calves that are all bright eyed, fresh & sappy with none looking to have ever missed a feed, & a good percentage not being far off the point of weaning. These females are an ideal 1 mark line of highly productive, commercial breeders, being moderate framed, well bred, low maintenance and quiet to handle. Just 3 1/2 years old, with their whole life in front of them, young mothers that will establish themselves as proper core matrons and go on to produce cracking young calves for years to come. Note. Odd cow with a white splash on her flank, 1 small eye scar, one with fresh pink eye (treated) Please see photos & video.
