Temperament not assessed in Paddock
These cows were very good to handle in the yards and through the race and crush. They are very quiet with just one cow who was slightly agitated in the crush and exited quickly. In the larger yards they were very settled and were a pleasure to move and control.

Assessor Comments
A mostly good to very good quality line of young Angus cows with their first calf at foot. These young cows were purchased from the 3R Angus sale in Aug 2023 as heifers PTIC to AI Sire Tehama Patriarch USA18981191 (see attachment). They have subsequently calved down and have their first calf at foot. They were rejoined over winter (bulls out mid August) but their low body condition score and the season has most likely contributed to a low re preg test result. They are medium to large frame young cows and they are doing a good job on their calves with approx 10% of the calves just a little under par. Note there is an extra calf given in and it is suspected that it is a twin. These cows temperament is a feature and they are very quiet and were a pleasure to assess in the crush and work in the yards. They suit to take onto good feed, lift/spike their condition score and rejoin. Only 4 calves are under 120 kg so all could be early weaned to assist joining. Ideal trade units.
