Assessor Comments
A nice line of one-mark, beautifully quiet tempered, HICKS BLACK COMPOSITE blood first calvers. These heifers are developing well, exhibiting good frame & producing plenty of milk, which is evident in the sappy black composite calves at foot which are as shiny as black snakes, & bred from sires with a reputation for high quality & performance. These heifers have been running continuously with the TeMania Angus bulls since calving, however they are unlikely to be back in calf due to the young age of the calves. Presenting in fresh condition, these heifers are just starting to clean up in the coat with the warmer weather, & are demonstrating excellent maternal traits for their first time around, mothering up immediately when reunited with their calves after assessment, for the photos. A great opportunity to secure quality young breeders which have calved unassisted with ease, with top quality young Black Composite calves at foot & a lifetime of production ahead of them.
