Assessor Comments
PTIC Rennylea Angus blood heifers, they are 17-18 months of age, scanned in calf to LBW Rennylea Angus bulls from 3-4 months in calf. To calve in August over a tight 3 weeks period. These heifers were scanned into the first joining cycle back in December and were retested 22/01/25 to guarantee pregnancy status. These heifers were classed in to be retained within the herd, but due to the dry season all naturally mated heifers are now surplus to requirement. They were joined to high indexing Rennylea Angus sires, with the Hearn family targeting bulls with high 400 day growth, high IMF, calving ease, and must have near perfect structure. These heifers will develop into medium/large framed matrons. Feedlot feedback has shown that these heifers are from the heart of a high marbling angus herd with steers averaging a 4.2 IMF grading previously. These heifers will stand up against any commercial herd and come with agents highest recommendation.
