These cows have been handled regularly and flowed well through the yards. The calves from the cows were being held in a holding yard outside the yards while the cows were being assessed. This didn't stress the cows and they all remained calm. A few cows didn't enjoy being mouthed but settled quickly once through the draft.

Assessor Comments
On offer is an outstanding line of one-mark PTIC Angus Cows. There's a total of 151 cows which have been drafted two ways and will be offered across 3 lots. The top draft comprises of 86 cows and will be sold in 2 lots of 43 as a run out the gate and the second draft will be sold in 1 lot of 65 head. Cows are PTIC to Angus bulls to commence calving on the 13th of March for 9 weeks. These cows are 4-6 years old, medium to large frame and are Te Mania and Rennylea blood. Cows currently have their Autumn drop calves at foot and are in strong store condition. The cows are milking well and putting everything into their calves which are exceptional. The entire drop of calves averaged 289kg at the time of assessment. I have included some photos of the calves. Please note calves are also being offered in this weeks Weaner and Yearling sale. Calves will remain on the cows until delivery.
