These heifers were responsive to pressure. They flowed through the yards well. The odd heifers was unsettled at assessment as preg testing was occurring in the same process. They were settled for the video (see attached) and have had ample handling.

Assessor Comments
First stage of the Barrabooka herd dispersal due to the sale of the property. Offering for sale 22 Hazeldean blood Angus heifers PTIC to calve from early February. 100% were PTIC on 11/12 for buyer reassurance. They were joined to the proven LBW Dunoon R464 (details in photos) from early May to late June for 53 days. These heifers are rising 2-2.5 years old, are very well grown for age with a low weight of 490kg and a high of 710kg and should calve with ease. They are large framed, soft coated structurally sound breeders. They represent the full consignment of classed breeders of the first calving heifers for 2025. No heifers have been retained and the drys were removed at assessment (bang tails). Genuine breeders females at the start of their productive life.
