These heifers had been weaned a week at assessment and had received 20mm of rain on their backs two days before assessment. They are all in strong condition and will handle a reasonable freight trip according to animal welfare guidelines

These weaner heifers are a credit to the vendor and his management team. For only being weaned a week they flowed calmy throughout the yards, through the pound and through race and crush. Only 1 or 2 become a little uneasy throughout the process but settled quickly upon returning to the mob and were unnoticeable.

These heifers have a live weight range of 162kg to 224kg at assessment with a delivery weight of 188kg. These heifers will have been yard weaned for ten days and will be tailed out with the use of dogs & buggies until delivery on improved pastures. Buyers, please note that the animals marked as horned in the assessment have not been touched at all, as they were identified as poll at time of branding. An opportunity to purchase lightweight weaned heifers in ideal condition to power ahead and are sired by leading GLENLANDS STUD SIRES to deliver performance and reputation.
