Assessor Comments
14 Jersey yearling steers, rising 16-18 months, vendor bred & bucket reared. Well grown with quiet temperament. All presenting in strong store condition with medium frame typical of this dairy breed. All dehorned with majority presenting with scurs. Suitable to take on for a grass or supplementary fed export manufacturing steer market. These steers will respond & go forward given good feed & favourable seasonal conditions. Alternatively, this lot may also suit a select a light 90CL manufacturing export processor order subject to required specifications. Vendor selling due to excess numbers running currently on farm coming into the Autumn/Winter months. Normally sold at heavier weights direct off farm to export processors. Purchase with optimism, low budget $$ per head cattle if suitable for select program/operation or select processor requirements. NOTE 1 steer is presenting with an old (blue) pink eye scar in 1 eye, not considered detrimental
