Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers handled reasonably well, there were a couple that certainly had some rush about them in the yards, especially when pressure was applied. I would suggest its only typical of age. The occasional heifer became slightly agitated when pressure was applied or on scales but quickly calmed in mob.

Assessor Comments
A small lot but a cracking lot. 13 Speckle Park heifers a great opportunity to step into this popular breed and retain for breeding. That said, they will not disappoint on the feed. Heifers have been locked in yards since Monday 3.5.21and have been yard weaned onto good quality Oaten silage & Oaten hay. They have been reweighed Wednesday 5.5.21 and todays weights have been used in assessment to reflect closer to delivery weight. Please note vendor will give heifers shot of Juramate injection to abort anything if any unknown joining have occurred. Please note vendor has 12 other heifers in todays weaner & yearling sale & PTIC heifers in Eastern States.
