Buyers here is a 4 deck line of backgrounder Brahman steers ready to go forward given the right grazing conditions. These are a mixture of steers that were weaned from cows purchased from both Charters Towers and the Katherine area. Presented in an even line, the steers have a live weight range of 213kg to 328kg with an average of 277.9kg at assessment. The steers have really performed well in the last 3 months having gained on average 0.6kg/day. All mouthed genuine milk tooth. The steers stand on moderate bone and frame and would be ideally suited to grow out to grainfed steers or grassfed ox.
