Calves were easy to handle. They didn’t show any sign of becoming agitated throughout the assessment, however one steer was inclined to become agitated if pressured, he settled quickly once back in the mob with his mates.

Good quality vendor bred Angus steer weaners ave 354 kilos at assessment. Weaners haven’t seen a bad day, they have been averaging a kilo a day weight gain over the last 3 months and will continue on given the same feed conditions as they are on at present. Steers are by Angus bulls purchased from Millah Murrah, Talooby, Heart and Seaforth Angus stud sales. Buyers note vendor has 3 other lots in this sale including 20 Angus heifer weaners.
