Steers were surprisingly quiet in and around yards. Could walk amongst them in yards with no fuss. The occasional steer became agitated when pressure was applied but quickly calmed once pressure removed. Counted 12 steers becoming upset in crush or when head bail was on to mouth, again quickly calmed when released back with mates.

41 feeder steers ready to go onto the feed and will do very well. Steers have plenty of bone and frame and should not disappoint given the opportunity.
Steers have been running on oats for last 8 weeks and just starting to go ahead. 41 steers handled at assessment and mouthed all 41, 2 of which are clear 2 tooths, there were around 6 that are still milk but teeth are worn and could assume may crack shortly.
Steers are quiet to handle in and around yards.
