Steers were very easy to handle through the yards at assessment. Odd animal agitated in the crush (tail flicking/ was quick to exit) at weighing but handled well as a mob when taking photos

EU Accredited weaned Angus steers in a tight group, weighed 269kg full (231-302kg) at assessment. Steers are in good condition and are ideal to background out to heavier weights to suit the heavy feeder or kill markets. All the hard work has been done, these steers have had all the required health treatments & are ready to go ahead on good feed. A 15% lighter end removed from the line. Please note; 5 head observed with pink eye scars/ cloudy eyes which occured at weaning around a month ago - the worth eyes have been removed, all deemed feedlot acceptable.
