Very quiet weaners to handle. All walked through the yards easily. Odd steer slightly agitated in the crush. They were very easy to handle as a mob after weighing.

Exceptional quality Team Te Mania Angus Progeny Test Angus weaner steers which are rarely sold as backgrounders. This is the TOPS OF THE DROP
Ave Weight: 326 kg (301-395 kg ) full at assessment. A large % of these calves are by leading A.I sires (see sire links).The A.I Sires are mostly in the Top 10 % of the Breed for IMF % & Top 30 % of the Breed for Grain fed Index. They are cold country Tablelands bred steers that will power ahead on good feed. These high marbling steers are showing all the attributes of the Team Te Mania breeding program -steers that will grow into large framed feeders, with years of breeding for long fed Angus programs. Steers have a great temperament . Please note; approx. 25% with mild ring worm scars around eyes (see photos) Six hd noted with 1 cloudy eye or old eye scar(Note: all bad eyes removed).A % of steers also showing some rubbing. This is a rare opportunity to secure some of the best performing steers in the Tablelands and come highly recommended.
