Assessor Comments
"Horse Creek" have presented a fantastic line of fresh and sappy Ultrablack/Droughtmaster cross steers. 14 of the Steers are by 'Palgrove Skyfall', a bull with a great temperament and commendable EBVs and 5 steers are by a Glenoch Angus bull. They are only 4 - 7 months old, they are extremely soft steers that show good weight for age, growth and depth of barrel and present a fantastic opportunity to value add. Considering these are not as yet weaned they are very quiet when separated from their mothers. They will remain on their mothers up until delivery and are ready to have some feed put in front of them to power away at weaning. Vendor also has heifers in todays auction. Buyers note, due to recent castration steers purses are still falling away but all are deemed clean and healthy.
Buyers please note in video the smaller steer was taken out after assessment. He will also be available to purchase and first option will go to the buyer of the 19. He is 127kg (full) and a later drop.
