No issue with score 1 cattle, this is mainly due to breed type. All cattle are very healthy and strong. These cattle felt very solid to the touch, well muscled with minimal fat cover.

All cattle handled very smoothly through a well structured yard. No issues in penning up or in the race. I noted 1 steer as slightly stirry in the crush and yard. He settled when the pressure released but wasn't aggressive. While not accredited the vendors employ low stress techniques which was evident in how the cattle behaved.

A great run of steers with all the crossbreds exhibiting the positive traits of their crosses. You will note I have given them low fat scores but this is more a reflection of breed. They are well muscled, very firm to the touch yet well covered over the ribs and rump. Good doing types that look set to take advantage of a grass program or a feedlot ration. They are in great health, great shapes with every one of them having the potential to make a very solid bullock. These are the non EU steers out of 2 other lots in this sale. If the trucking configuration doesn't work out with other lots in this sale, the vendor is willing to drop the number to neatly fill one deck - ie 30/deck.

Main breed lines: Blacks - Ultrablack/Sim, UB/DM. Reds: Sim/DM, Sim/Red Brah and Droughtmaster. All crosses are an excellent example of both breeds.
Grazing Conditions
Mix of native and improved pastures including Rhodes grass and forage sorghum. Supplemented with app 2kg/hd/day grain, sorghum, molasses and concentrate. Feed is lush and as one would expect in the time of year.
