Assessor Comments
Buyers a great opportunity to secure a 2 deck line of VGQ Vendor bred weaned milk tooth steers. Steers are out of Medium to Large framed Angus and Angus/Ultrablack cows sired by high priced Pathfinder, Lawson & Raff Angus bulls. These steers are run on lighter red country and will power ahead on good feed. Ideally suited to the Woolworths feeder market as they were drafted into a tight 360-390 kg range also perfect to put on oats as they already have the frame and would get to heavy feeder weights in no time. Alternatively they could be taken through to grass bullocks suiting all Pasture fed programmes with no grain or hormone in their lives. The Cornford cattle have a good reputation for performing on grass or grain as they have the length of body, bone and softness. Note 2 steers had slight blue clouding in one eye not considered detrimental.
