Buyers presenting a VGQ line of Vendor bred no5 Santa and Santa cross feeder steers that present in store condition and will explode going onto feed with the frame and breeding to perform. Bred from large framed Santa and Santa /Charolais and Santa/Angus cross cows Sired by high priced Santa sires from renowned Queensland Studs. Steers ideally suited to heavy feeder market, alternatively would suit the grass Bullock producer to take through to slaughter weights . These steers have been through a very dry summer but have bounced ahead after being supplemented with pellets.Please note a few steers showing slight fly rub, one steer showing blue scarring in one eye neither considered detrimental. Please note steers were treated with 200 day Compudose on 2nd Feb

While Jean S47 herself is not in the Mature Cow Sale in the spirit of the sale we have made her available in the form of an exclusive embryo package. S47 has already established herself selling her first run of 5 bulls at last years’ sale for an average of $18,000 with three of them heading to studs including Wattletop, Karoo and Excel Genetics. Her grand dam is the $82K Ben Nevis Jean H215 and her dam is a full sister to Lots 1, 38, 55 with Lot 1 being the Australian record holder for embryo’s sold at auction for $6,000 per egg to Mackas Angus. We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all. Her current bull calf by Rambo is an absolute ripper. Her maternal aunt is Lot 4, with both her and P303’s dam out of G117, sister to D71 who is the dam of H215.
