A mostly good to very good quality line of vendor bred weaner steers. They are mostly medium frame and display good solid muscling and good weight for age. The small percentage of fair quality steers just lack a little muscling. The breeding program at this property for the past six years has focussed on producing more moderate sized females and these steers are sired by Pharo Angus bulls. These steers are normally taken through to mid weight export feeder weights for local feedlots and are only being sold due to the season. They are Grassland accredited and have been taken through to grass slaughter markets previously. They were excellent to handle in the yards and through the crush and have been eductated using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques. They are doing very well post weaning on some fresh paddocks of subtropical improved pastures with access to Annipro. Good quality medium framed Angus and Angus x steers.

Sired by Pharo Angus bulls over a cow base that had Angus genetics from Tex Angus and then Sandon Glenoch Angus studs and a few Santa cows. The breeding program at Coorangyi has focused on producing a more moderate sized breeding female.

Yard weaned in early March. Since then they have been on good quality subtropical improved pastures supplemented with Annipro.
