Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Easy to handle, well mannered, bucket reared calves. Easy to push around the yards, and draft. Let out through the crush and walked back to their sisters. Some very typical ‘nervous’ crossbred behaviour in the crush. Ie. scared of the aluminium platform, and the noise when standing on it, 1 heifer listed above was last to come through and a bit anxious, jumping about on the scales.

Assessor Comments
Quiet, well mannered young heifers. Being reared on farm, no corners have been cut and no expenses spared in giving these young females the best start possible in life. Reared on the bucket for almost 12 weeks, then weaned on to developer pellets & hay, being going out on to heavily improved pastures. These young heifers have never seen a set back and have been drafted off as the tops of the drop with a small tail removed. An ideal line to either take forward on feed, or put a bull with them down the track and get some vealers on the ground. Buyers please Note - Vendor has another 3 lots of Steers in the same sale.
