34 EU, Weaned Shorthorn Steers, July / Aug drop 25, Steers are by the Futurity Bulls out of the bowman family's long standing shorthorn herd. Steers averaged 273kgs (Curfew weight at assessment.) These steers are generally grown out to reach medium to heavy feeder weights and are only being sold due to the deteriorating season. Buyers please note one steer has a small blemish in one eye from an old pink eye scar. Aswell as one steer with a small formation of scald down the back.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all. Her current bull calf by Rambo is an absolute ripper. Her maternal aunt is Lot 4, with both her and P303’s dam out of G117, sister to D71 who is the dam of H215.
