Calves handled well through the assessment process, there was only a handful of Heifers that showed signs of agitation when standing on the scale platform. Once out of the yards and in the weaning paddocks they were settled and showed no signs of run.

Assessor Comments
Seconds of the drop EU Accredited Angus & Angus/Shorthorn X Heifers. Heifers are well weaned and up to date with all animal health treatments. The program have been using quality Angus Bulls from Banquet Angus for a number of years and buying bulls at the top end of the catalogue. Weight for age the heifers have weighed very well and have had a dream run with nearly the perfect past 6 months and is great to see the potential of these calves met. Heifers being forward and in fresh condition would thrive in any operation whether a backgrounder, feeder or finisher or to be turned out and joined to a bull, being plenty big enough come November to be joined.
