Steers have had limited handling, however are generally quiet natured. The few that jumped around in the race & weigh box I'm sure will settle down with more handling.

Assessor Comments
Buyers this line of well bred steers are renown performers on grass & grain. Other than a few younger lighter steers this is the annual draft of steers, as such yes there is quite a weight range however due to freight cost we believe it beneficial to 'keep the truck full'. These steers range from 203kg through to 384kg, which presents a great opportunity for the purchaser to have a few drafts of steers taken out of this consignment. These steers had a good start early in their lives however the season has cut out in the last little while, thus bringing the sale of these steers 2-3 months forward. Plenty of frame, with the genetics behind them to perform well, these steers won't disappoint. Theres 2 older steers that are 12 months old- they are solid milk teeth the balance of the steers are 6-10 months old. There's 3 with scarring in one eye, 1 with a slight bent nose & 1 with a small lump under os eye, none of these imperfections appear to be affecting the performance of the steers.
