Assessor Comments
10 Angus-Sired yearling Steers, presenting in a forward store condition. Steers averaged 319.6kg at assessment. Steers were purchased. The Steers temperament was a feature, being very quiet and well handled by the vendor, particularly in the paddock for media purposes. Purchasers, please note: 1 steers have old pink eye scarring on 1 side. 1 steer has warts on the left side of his neck. However, the vendor has treated these warts with a copper sulfate remedy prior to the assessment (see media for reference). This is an excellent opportunity to acquire Angus-sired yearling steers suitable for backgrounding, and these steers are expected to fit well with a wide range of farming operations.
