A credit to the vendors for the temperament of these steers. Even when steers were in a confined space of the crush they showed very little fuss. Very quiet cattle to handle in the yards.

Assessor Comments
On offer is a very good quality line of 100 EU vendor bred Droughtmaster steers 10 to 13 months of age with exceptional temperament. Steers have been bred in Western Queensland and will perform on a rising plain of nutrition. Steers stand on good bone and have plenty of stretch with compensatory gain to be had to maximize the purchasers profits. Steers are very tidy around the head. Previous purchasers have commented on the quality and the temperament of the "Cooladdi Park" steers as they will not disappoint any purchaser, they have a reputation to perform. The majority of the steers were weaned in June and have had a full weaning program comprising yard fed on hay and weaner ration, turned out into paddock and mustered back to yards each afternoon and worked through yards applying low stress stock handling. Only a few of the heaviest steers mouthed and all being solid milk tooth. One steer with a ripped ear but not detrimental. Weight range of 264 to 387kg to average 315kg curfewed.
