Assessor Comments
A very nice line of predominantly Santa Gertrudis vendor bred steers. These steers have the foundation of good genetics, good nutrition and good handling to ensure that they will perform for the purchaser. The steers have come out of a very good paddock and are healthy and growing well. The different coloured tags one can observe in the photographs are just to identify different family members. The Murphy family have been concentrating on buying some of the best Santa Gertrudis genetics available and it is showing. This line of steers are predominantly polled but show good stretch and depth as a result of careful sire and dam selection. There are four steers that have been castrated later than their brothers. These steers are thicker in their features but this is not considered detrimental. These steers will go on to to be excellent performers on grass or grain. Buy with confidence. Please note one day delivery window.
