A line of handy young weaner steers that are very well bred and true to type, small to moderate frame for age with depth and bone with the ability to mature into moderate framed steers. These steers represent the lighter steers of the vendors complete drop of 940 steers that were weighed at assessment in a 160-209kg weight range. Reluctant early sale that is only offered due to seasonal conditions as steers are traditionally held and matured to heavier weights and offered as feeder steers suitable to introduce into the feedlot in excess of 400kg.
Note : The line of 104 steers included - 10 calves with old ringworm scars, 12 calves with a white belly and 4 calves with a cloudy eye (deemed not detrimental to the beast)
