Assessor Comments
On offer is 128 Charbray Cross steers that have averaged 256kg. Steers are being offered in 2 lots- 128hd each as an even as possible run out the gate - 4 decks each. Steers are sired by Trifecta Charbray bulls out of Charbray X and Brahman X cows. Steers have been gradually weaned since June 2024 from vendors different places around Quilpie Shire and have been trucked to 'Como' and placed on Bulloo River frontage country which consists of dried off native grasses in the river with access to mulga country. Steers will remain in yards on hay until delivery please take this into consideration when bidding and for prompt delivery. These steers have a large amount of frame and bone which is ideal to pack on the weight quickly- I would expect steers to bounce away extremely quickly on good green feed and the purchaser to have good compensatory weight gains. Steers are HGP free and ideal to background for feedlots or export OX. Local transport can be arranged.
