Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Steers are good to handle in the paddock and yards. Some steers did get slightly agitated when isolated whilst being weighed and assessed however once they were returned to the mob they were settled. These steers will settle further the more times they are worked through a yard. Overall, the temperament of this mob and the Ellenvale herd is very good.

Assessor Comments
A quality 5 deck line of one brand, vendor bred, HGP Free weaner Steers. Predominantly consisting of high grade red and grey Brahmans with approx. 15% black and brindle. Weaned over a three-week period from the 17th of September to the 30th of September. These steers are part of an annual turn off, no males are retained by the vendor. The line presents in fresh store condition and are strong enough to travel long distances if required. The steers are generally very clean around the head and any horn regrowth is minimal. 89 Red Brahman, 69 Grey Brahman, 11 Black Brahman, 13 Black Brangus, 8 Brindle Brahman. A very good quality line of well-mannered steers that exhibit plenty of growth for age, bone and overall good composition to excel on good feed as a feeder steer or bullock.
