Generally good to handle in and through the yards. Two steers were moderately agitated in the crush but settled quickly in the yards. All settled quickly when back in the mob and were good to move and manage when taking photos and videos with just one steer that wanted to lead off quickly.

Assessor Comments
A fair through to good and mostly very good quality line of Droughtmaster weaned steers. With medium to large frame they suit to grow to the heavier end of export feeder weights and then crop or grain finish. Eight steer (red tags) were purchased locally as calves on cows in the past couple of months and were weaned in late April. There is five steers which were cut a little later but are not showing secondary male sex characteristics and will grow out into feeder steers. Note one steer had slightly infected horn from dehorning and was treated with antibiotics at assessment. They have been confined and fed Faba Beans and Barley hay mix and are nice and soft in the coat and are moving ahead nicely. Please note the vendor is offering free delivery with 100km. There is also another line of similar weight steers and heifers located approx 15km away in this sale. Good quality steers that will move ahean nicely given access to good feed.
