Steers were assessed straight after being mustered, were slightly agitated but settled quickly. Buffalo fly were present on the cattle, also causing them to be unsettled.

A line of Vendor Bred Angus Steers, sired by Texas Angus Bulls. At assessment the Steers weighed from 309-391kg to average 354kg full, with a projected delivery weight of 337kg. The Steers were bred in the Rocky River Area - lighter country to the East of Tenterfield, weaned in August 23 then grown out on the Vendors Tenterfield property, since being weaned the steers were on a very dry paddock that was effected by fire, although they look as though they are really goping forward now after a hard 2 months. Steers are showing good frame and carry minimal condition. please note similar lines in the same sale.
