Assessor Comments
A line of 56 Shorthorn EU accredited and weaned steers presenting in store condition. They are also Greenhams Never Ever accredited. All the work has been done. They are April/May 2024 drops, and were yard weaned for 14 days on the 28th Sept. They will average 228 kg, curfewed, and have had a small tail taken out of the bottom end. A small number of these steers are showing some signs of old ringworm, which has dried up. The Wild Dog Creek group always source top end bulls, with a very big focus on continual herd improvement, and on quiet temperament. The Shorthorn sires used include Spry's Shorthorns and Bayview. Wild Dog Creek will offer two other lines in this same sale. They are selling much earlier than usual due to the dry seasonal conditions.
