Steers were very good to handle. They were hand fed through autumn and winter so are used to humans and vehicles. 1 steer stirred up a bit in the crush.

76 vendor bred Angus feeder steers that will boom on green feed or grain. All weighed from 314kg -369kg to average 345kg full. Plenty of frame. Dropped in Aug/Sep 2023 they had a good start then a very tough summer, autumn and winter. They have been on dry pasture which has now run out, they have received a few bales of pasture hay in the past 2 weeks. Bred out of big frame Banquet and Western Vic bred cows and sired by Bushy Park bulls who have used a lot of Millamurrah semen. Normally taken through to bullocks though given the seasonal conditions they are selling now. One steer has white on it belly. Well bred steers
