Cattle were very well educated and worked through the yards extremely well. Assessment was done with two people only, steers stood calmly on the weigh scales. A real credit to the management and education of these cattle.

Offering 53 Vendor Bred #4 steer weaners. These cattle are very well bred by Landsborough Santa or Ardrossan Angus Bulls, which is very well reflected in the quality of the cattle. Quiet and very well handled cattle they flowed very well through the yards, race and crush, standing very calmly on the weigh scales, being worked by only one other person than the assessor, a real credit to the station manager on the education of these cattle. Steers were weighed from 260 - 428kg to Av. 320kg, FULL at assessment, 95% of the steers are 270 - 380kg (two under 270 and two over 380kg). 10 head were mouthed to be milk teeth. Please note pre-sale weather predictions and rainfall may delay a delivery as "Lucella" is on black soil roads. TopX Longreach have two other very similar lines of steers in the same sale that would make up very good Road Train loads of cattle.
