Cattle were good to handle throughout the yards and crush. Eleven became slightly agitated in the crush and would not settle while being assessed while one head was highly agitated. All settled when back in the yards together and remained quiet when being photographed. Cattle are worked using Low Stress Stock Handling techniques.

A line of mostly good to very good quality unjoined and NDP yearling heifers. They are mostly medium to large framed with approx 5% small framed heifers in the line. All but one heifer are vendor bred and are from Angus or Santa bulls over Angus cross, Santa cross and Brahman cross cows. The Charolais cross calves are from from purchased Charolais PTIC cows. The heifers are unjoined and not had access to a bull and the vendor, who is an experinced commercial preg tester has pregnancy tested the heifers and all are not detectably pregnant. One heifer has a slight amount of blue eye in one eye and one heifer with a small patch of warts around the eye. They have a tight LWR of 303 - 428 kg full weight and they suit to take directly onto feed for a variety of domestic markets. Alternatively the top 40% have the potential to make very good quality future breeders. This is a nice line of crossbred heifers which are healthy and moving ahead nicely.
