Assessor Comments
A well-presented line of 67 paddock weaned AA steers May/ June 2024 drop that have all the capability to grow out to any weight. This line of steers present in fresh forward store to forward condition with the odd dry type in the line. They have been drafted, with the lighter tail taken out. They are selling much earlier than usual, due to the extremely dry conditions being experienced. There are two management tags due to 2 different properties but are under the same ownership. Temperament wise they are a quiet line of steers to work with and handled quietly through the crush. Only 5 arced up slightly under pressure leading up the race. Some are still sporting their woolly coats, and a small handful are showing some signs of old ringworm around the head and neck area. All in all, a very neat and tidy line of weaned steers. The vendor also has a line of 98 Angus heifers in this sale as well.
