Assessor Comments
A very good quality B-Double line of EU accredited October/ November '23 drop steers. These steers present in genuine store condition and averaged 369kg (332-411kg) at assessment. They are run under very high stocking rates and will show good compensatory growth under increased feed conditions. Bred using genetics from some of the leading Angus Sires in the industry, with recent AI sires used being GAR Phoenix & Wilks Regiment 9035 - both top 2% for 200/400/600 day growth specifically targeting the feeder steer market (sire links attached). These steers have plenty of upside having the frame and age to go straight onto feed or grow out to heavier feeder / grassfed kill weights being Teys Grasslands and Greenham Never Ever Accredited. Please note; one with warts, one with a birthmark on side of its face (see photo) & eight with old pickeye scars in one eye only.
