Buyers, a great opportunity to secure a VGQ 3 deck line of vendor-bred weaned steers. Steers are out of large-frame Santa, Simmental and Hereford cross cows and are sired by high-priced Santa and Simmental and Hereford bulls. Steers stand on good bone and show good length, depth and great weight for age. Steers were bred on vendors three properties and were returned to Barford at weaning in June/July and have been grazing on wintered pasture since. These steers are gaining a good reputation for performance on grass or grain and come highly recommended, ideally suited to take through to grass bullocks or alternatively will suit Domestic or 100 day feeder market. Please note two steers observed with a slight blue spot in one eye which is not considered detrimental. Steers described with horns are only weaner horn well inside ears, Vendor has 2 decks sisters this sale.
