Steers were good to handle throughout the yards and crush. All but three steers settled and stood still in the crush. One steer would not settle in the yard when being photographed but was not aggressive, the rest settled when back in the yards together and remained quiet.

A good to very good quality line of vendor bred steers. They are soft British/Euro/Bos Indicus crossbred steers that would suit a range of markets. Sired by Nindooinbah Ultra Black & Angus bulls, as well as a Brangus bull. Yard weaned in July on good quality oaten hay, educated to hay racks and moved to oats paddock after 10 days, they will remain on oats until delivery. These are very growthy steers that are showing good weight for age. Steers would suit to put directly onto feed and grow out to export feeder weights. A tight weight range of 316kg - 388kg at assessment with 30% large framed and the remainder medium framed. Steers have also not had access to grain or cotton seed. Please note that this vendor also has 25 heifers in this sale.
