Paddock
Temperament not assessed in Paddock
This line of steer weaners have exceptional temperament due to being managed intensely through the cell grazing system, moved every 1-3 days. Only the second time through the yards and the day they were weaned they were a pleasure to handle. Without any training in the yards they flowed up the race patiently and stood on the scales and exited the crush without concern. Very easy to block up and move around. Trained to 1 hot wire paddocks.

Assessor Comments
Quality line of young steer weaners that have not seen a set back in their lives. Predominantly black coated soft easy doing cattle that will only go one way given the oppertunity. Due to the constant rotation through the vendors cell grazing system these calves have a handle that is something to be seen. Great oppertunity to put a nice line of store steers together to background on stubbles through the summer. A sample will be weighed closer to sale day to give an accurate delivery weight due to weaning taking place at assessment. 50% sample weighed by vendor full no curfew 2days prior to sale, shows no weight loss during the weaning process.
