Very well handled Steers, Sanderson Pastoral Co does not yard wean, commending their docility within their genetics. Cattle flowed throughout the yards with ease. Cattle that presented slightly stiry became agitated and wanted to get away back to yard/paddock but was confined in crush. Once let free was good to handle again.

48 quality bred angus steers. Steers range 252 kg - 329 kg av 296kg having been off feed for 3 hours. Sanderson pastoral co buys top quality high indexing Hicks Black Composite Bulls being bred over a angus cow based herd. Please not a small portion of the mob were purchased as cows and calves. These steers have great bone, weight and growth for age and would excel on the right feed as dry conditions have come and are still doing 0.550 ADG mob average. Great line of steers to background into heavy feeder market or processing markets. These cattle have great depth and capacity and are noted for their doing ability year in year out in feedlots. Steers are 100% grass-fed and antibiotic free. Steers would normally be retained to heavy feeder weights. Odd steer has old pinkeye scarring, considered not detrimental. *** Please note a draft of 82 & 81 head weighing 330 - 400KG in this sale***
