Very quiet & inquisitive young steers. Having had temperament bred in to them along with quiet handling & management. All very easy to bring through the yards and up the race. A few steers showed some anxiety when the scanner was put in their face, and when entering the crush - listed above as slightly stirry. All exited the crush quietly and joined back with their brothers.

A very smart line of the renowned Hillgrove Star Steers. Only being offered due to a tightness of water, and needing to look after the breeders. Usually retained and grown out to feeder weights & sought after by high end feedlots, being renowned for their performance - particularly their early settling & early weight gaining attributes. Out of a heavily classed, Rennylea/Te Mania based cow herd, By high end Te Mania Sires. An ideal load of EU/Never Ever/Grass only young steers to take on, with the genetics & reputation to be top performers.
