Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Heifers were an absolute pleasure to handle in the yards and a real credit to the vendor on the time & handling thats been put in to them. All led up the race without hassles, were calm & easy to handle in the crush and all exited at a walk them quietly grazed in the adjoining paddock. Just one heifer that displayed some anxious behaviour in the crush as a result of having to be re-buttoned, listed above as slightly stirry.

Assessor Comments
Nice line of Euro/Angus Heifers. Heifers were exceptional to handle throughout assessment. Originally intended to join and calve down, only offered for sale now due to vendor’s plans of a semi-retirement program and going in to fattening steers & taking on some agistment. Heifers have an exceptional temperament and are an excellent example of their breed, and have been realistically reserved at their kill value to give them the best chance at being joined.

Vendor Comments
Unfortunate sale of some very nice females that I would have liked to join myself, But changing over to restocking steers as part of a semi-retirement plan.
